Welcome - to positively going forward from your troubles, what ever they may be.
Our adult views are founded in childhood - we live our lives by them.
Yet these views do not always serve us well. Most of my clients come with issues that started in forgotten infancy: including anxiety, abuse and addictions. Happily, resolvable through therapy.
What is therapy?
Therapy is the professional process of helping clients understand what is bothering them; why it is bothering them and how to deal with it. Essentially therapy comes down to three things: What is troubling? When did it start? Why does it come back?
At the start of your first session, the only thing likely to be known is how the bothering is making you feel in day to day life; things like anger, addictions, anxiety, depression.... By the end of the last session, you will know where it comes from, why it's there and, most importantly, how to deal with it.
Therapy can never make us forget unpleasant events or feelings. We will never forget being hurt but we can stop the hurt damaging our day to day lives. Help us mend, rebuild and go forwards - onwards and upwards.
There is never any criticism - only unconditional, positive regard and progress at a pace to suit you. My focus is on empowering you, to bring about the changes necessary for your well being and happiness.

Client Testimonials
Some feedback from 2024
“This was my first experience of therapy and it was an extremely positive one. I found Brad to be personable and easy to talk to. I felt comfortable opening up about the difficulties i was facing and found the sessions would set me up for the week ahead. Being able to talk to Brad felt like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders and has helped me see the positives.
Thanks for all you did.”
Ms C
"I came to Brad because of anxiety and low mood and had been signed off work.
I had never had therapy before but Brad was extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly which made it easy for me to articulate my issues.
He helped me understand the underlying reasons for my mental state, and then, through a number of techniques, helped me to overcome it.
They were small steps that compounded, and now I feel a lot better mentally and have returned to work.
This is largely down to Brad and his therapy sessions."
Mr J
"Brad guided me through a difficult time, showing great empathy, but also giving me practical tools to use day to day to help me with my issues. I would gladly recommend him without hesitation."
Mr P
"Last year was a tough year for me and I was not coping, I reached out to Brad and he was so receptive, he called me back the same day and asked me for some background information, he said he could help me and that was such a relief in itself.
